-

rejoices in God’s love, grace and mercy;

-

is dedicated to, and enthusiastic in, following Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, open to the dynamic ongoing work and power of the Holy Spirit, giving glory to God;

-

is united in purpose;

-

loves and values each person as a child of God and actively encourages life-long discipleship and maturity in faith through regular worship, fellowship, Bible study, training;

-

sees each church member as having a vital and unique contribution to make to expressing God’s love for the world and extending his kingdom here on earth;

-

desires and determines to reach out and spread the good news of God’s love for this whole community;

-

is prepared to move forward, seeking ways in which to be contemporary and relevant in living out our faith and sharing our faith with others;

-

provides for each person’s God-given potential, talents, gifts and skills to be discovered, encouraged, developed and employed for the furthering of God’s kingdom;

-

embraces the lonely, hurting, needy and ill and desires to care, pray and provide practical support;

-

feeds the hungry – materially, physically, spiritually, emotionally;

-

heals the sick, and befriends and counsels the lost, lonely and needy;

-

supports and encourages family life;

-

has open doors - regularly open for prayer, peace, quiet as well as providing facilities for the wider community;

-

is open-hearted and open-handed – being generously prepared to learn from others, and also to willingly share the blessings God has given us.

Out of our vision for the church and the community, our purpose is:

To bring people to know Jesus and to belong in God’s family, nurturing church members into becoming mature disciples of Jesus Christ, equipping them for their ministry and service in the world, all for the love of God and for His glory.
