We try to make everything about our services "user-friendly" with comfortable chairs, good lighting and sound, and a warm welcome is assured.

We aim to make the content of our services relevant to our culture and community.  Our earlier Sunday morning service, weekly at 9.30am, is a ‘Common Worship’ Communion service and is traditional in style and music.  The later morning service, weekly at 11.15am, has a more contemporary worship style, with the worship band of talented musicians and singers.  In addition to the preaching and teaching offered at the 11.15am service, there are groups for children and young people (Fusion, Champions and Little Champs) with activities, worship, music, etc relevant to the different age groups.

We often include audio/visual presentations, and we have a team of people who are always available to pray with those who request it after each of our services.

We also hold regular baptismal services, which are usually held at 1.30pm.

And for when you're at home ...

Sue Wordsworth has recorded her first CD - "Come to the Father" - a compilation of beautiful worship songs, to reflect on and relax into. "Come to the Father" features 12 songs written and performed by Sue and recorded by Terry Walker, and can be obtained from sue.wordsworth@yahoo.com or directly from St Francis' Church for £10 plus p&p. You can hear two of Sue's tracks on the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dyjgTSQvTM - but please do not copy the file/music without prior written permission from Sue.
